The subject of child labour is often over looked in teaching of citizenship and human rights.
There exists approx. 250 million people under the age of 16 who work full time and are not receiving a basic education..Global Citizen SW has worked in rehabilitation centres for child labourers in India and uses first hand experiences to educate students about the reality of child labour and the importance of education as solution.
Students will get a taste of what it means to campaign for the abolition of child labour whilst developing a good understanding of abolition of child labour debate.
