Global Citizen SW has worked directly with asylum seekers and refugees in Cornwall and in Tibet-in-exile, India. The workshop(s) presents a factual and investigative over-view of the current asylum situation in the UK. Using the medium of role play and drama, the session(s) empowers students to consider the role of media in forming popular opinions and the effects discrimination has on the lives of asylum seekers and refugees.
